Heramb Maulankar Swims Across Mandovi, Inspires With Grit at Just 9
Panaji: In a remarkable display of determination and courage, 9-year-old Heramb Sagar Maulankar, a Class IV student from Nasnola, successfully swam across the Mandovi River on Sunday.
Heramb started his swim from Reis Magos and completed the challenging stretch to Campal, earning praise from locals and sports enthusiasts alike.
He is currently undergoing training at the Sports Complex in Pedem, Mapusa, under the guidance of coach Ajay Naik. His achievement at such a young age has not only inspired many but also highlighted the budding talent in Goa’s sporting community.
Coach Naik expressed pride in Heramb’s discipline and dedication, saying the young swimmer shows great promise for future competitions.
