State Level Qazaq Kures Championship Inaugurated at Peddem, Mapusa-Goa

The State Level Qazaq Kures Championship was successfully inaugurated at Peddem, Mapusa-Goa. The event was graced by Chief Guests Mr. Harish Tyagi, the dynamic President of the Qazaq Kures Association of India and President of Asia, and Mr. Pravin Tyagi, the strategic Technical Director of India and General Secretary of Asia.

The inauguration ceremony was also attended by Dr. Tarak Arolkar, President of the Qazaq Kures Association of Goa, Mr. Umesh Tivrekar, Vice-President of the Goa Association, Mr. Ashirwad Khorjuvekar, Treasurer, Mr. Raghunath Shintre, Acting Secretary of the All India Qazaq Kures Association, and Mr. Krupesh Vengurlekar, Technical Chairman of Qazaq Kures Goa.

The event began with the traditional lighting of the lamp. Several dignitaries were felicitated on stage for their contributions and efforts in promoting the sport of Qazaq Kures in India. Special honors were given to Mr. Harish Tyagi and Mr. Pravin Tyagi for their dedication and hard work.

Dr. Prashant Kadam conducted the ceremony smoothly and effectively as the host.

In his welcome speech, Dr. Tarak Arolkar expressed gratitude to Mr. Harish Tyagi and Mr. Pravin Tyagi for their support in promoting Qazaq Kures in India. He also thanked all the dignitaries for their presence. He highlighted the opportunities available for Goan boys and girls to build their careers through this sport. He proudly stated that the Qazaq Kures Association of Goa trains players free of cost and urged more local youth to participate.

He also mentioned that earlier, such facilities were not available in Goa, but now they are being provided. Since Qazaq Kures is also played in the Olympics, the association hopes that Goan players will represent India at the Olympic level in the future. He extended best wishes to all the participants.

Mr. Harish Tyagi, in his address, spoke about the importance of this sport for youth and the need to promote it widely across India. He emphasized the goal of seeing Indian representation in Qazaq Kures at the Olympics and encouraged everyone to take up the sport. He also extended his best wishes to the participants.

Mr. Raghunath Shintre guided the players on the importance of following the rules of the game. He encouraged them to adopt a positive attitude and look at the sport as a path to a successful career. He explained the rules and wished all participants success in the competition.

Finally, Mr. Ashirwad Khorjuvekar gave the vote of thanks and wished all the players a successful tournament.
