Honored with National Award: Shri Tarak Mangesh Arolkar receives the ‘National Ideal Social Service Excellence Award’
Panaji : The National Award Distribution Ceremony, jointly organized by the Integrated Social Welfare Society (Regd.), Chikodi, Belagavi, and the National Rural Development Foundation (Regd.), Belagavi, was held with great enthusiasm in Goa. Eminent personalities from Delhi, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Goa attended the event.
At this ceremony, Shri Tarak Mangesh Arolkar from Goa was honored with the “National Ideal Social Service Excellence Award” in recognition of his remarkable social service. His name was recommended by several dignitaries and government officials from Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Goa.
Shri Arolkar’s social work and service were described as extraordinary. Recognizing his significant contribution, he was presented with this national honor, which is expected to serve as a new source of inspiration for his future work, as stated by the organizers.
The event was graced by the presence of eminent personalities including Hon’ble Veerappa Moily, Union Law Minister, Government of India, Delhi; Hon’ble Mrs. Ratnamala Savanur, Union Minister, Government of India, Delhi; and Barrister Shri Amarsingh Patil, Member of Parliament, Belagavi.
During a felicitation ceremony organized by the Bhandari community, Shri Tarak Mangesh Arolkar made a major announcement. In his address, he declared, “I am donating 5,000 square meters of land for the educational advancement of underprivileged and deserving students from the Bhandari community.” Work has already begun to establish a grand educational complex on this land.
For many years, Shri Arolkar has been actively organizing various social initiatives across Goa, including annual distribution of school materials, conducting competitions to foster sportsmanship among students, and other educational and social activities. His efforts have provided significant support to underprivileged students.
Shri Tarak Arolkar’s inspiring work has always been a topic of admiration within the community. Presently, his name is gaining strong traction in Goa’s political landscape as well. Many citizens are openly expressing their desire to see him actively participate in the Goa Legislative Assembly. His sincere public service has earned him immense trust among the people, and there is a growing belief that under his leadership, Goa will witness rapid development. This growing public support is seen as a true recognition of his dedicated service.
