CM Pramod Sawant Lays Foundation Stone for Shrividya Pathshala in Historic ‘Rishivan’ at Rivona
Sanguem, Rivona | Akshayya Tritiya 2025: On the auspicious occasion of Akshayya Tritiya, Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant laid the foundation stone for the new building of Shrividya Pathshala, under the guidance of Mahamahopadhyay Shri Devdatta Patil, in the sacred and historic land of ‘Rishivan’, now known as Rivona in Sanguem taluka.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of Social Welfare Minister Shri Subhash Phal Desai, along with other esteemed dignitaries, scholars, and devotees.
Shrividya Pathshala has been actively conducting Shastra Adhyayan (scriptural studies) programs in this spiritually significant region. Notably, the Pathshala also encourages the participation of girls in Shastra Vidya, making it an inclusive center for traditional learning.
Speaking on the occasion, CM Sawant expressed confidence that the new infrastructure would further empower Shrividya Pathshala to evolve into a sacred Gurukul, thereby reviving the glorious legacy of ‘Rishivan’ and nurturing future generations with the timeless wisdom of Indian Shastras.
