CM Pramod Sawant Launches AI-Powered Investigation App ‘Deep Trace’ by Goa Police
Panaji : Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant proudly announced the launch of ‘Deep Trace’, a cutting-edge investigation app developed by the AI/ML Lab of Goa Police, marking a major leap towards integrating artificial intelligence into law enforcement in the state.
Designed to revolutionize police investigations, Deep Trace harnesses the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to assist senior officers in solving complex cases with greater speed and precision. The app is now operational and accessible to officers holding the rank of Superintendent of Police (SP) and above across all police departments in Goa.
“This innovation reflects our commitment to modernizing policing in line with the vision of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, who has consistently emphasized the importance of adopting advanced technologies in governance,” said CM Sawant at the launch event.
The AI/ML Lab of Goa Police, established in February 2025, has been at the forefront of tech-driven policing. CM Sawant expressed confidence that the lab will continue to deliver pioneering solutions and set new benchmarks for police forces nationwide.
Deep Trace is expected to play a crucial role in enhancing investigative efficiency, reducing human error, and supporting data-driven decision-making in law enforcement.
