Goa Congress Organizes ‘Jai Hind Yatra’ to Honour India’s Armed Forces

Panjim : Under the dynamic leadership of Goa Pradesh Congress Committee (GPCC) President Shri Amit Patkar, the Goa Congress today organized the patriotic ‘Jai Hind Yatra’ in Panjim, paying tribute to the unwavering courage and dedication of India’s Armed Forces.

The march commenced from the historic Congress House and culminated at the Army Headquarters – 2 Signal Training Centre in Panjim. The event witnessed the participation of prominent leaders including South Goa Lok Sabha MP Capt. Viriato Fernandes, MLA Adv. Carlos Alvares Ferreira, and several other senior office bearers and party workers.

Addressing the gathering, President Amit Patkar emphasized the Congress Party’s unwavering commitment to the valiant soldiers of the nation. “Our armed forces continue to protect the sovereignty and integrity of our country, often in the face of immense challenges and growing tensions with Pakistan. Today’s yatra is our humble tribute to their service and sacrifice,” he stated.

The Goa Congress reaffirmed its solidarity with the nation’s heroes, pledging full support to the protectors of India’s borders who remain steadfast in their duty to the nation.
