CM Pramod Sawant Lays Foundation Stone for Modern Government Office Complex in Bicholim
Bicholim : In a significant step towards strengthening public infrastructure and administrative efficiency in North Goa, Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant laid the foundation stone for a state-of-the-art Government Office Complex in Bicholim Taluka. The event was graced by Bicholim MLA Dr. Chandrakant Shetye, Maem MLA Shri Premendra Shet, and other dignitaries.
The upcoming complex, to be developed at an estimated cost of ₹57.33 crore, will house multiple government departments under one roof. It will also include modern amenities such as a well-equipped library and an open hall, designed to facilitate better public service delivery and inter-departmental coordination.
Speaking at the ceremony, CM Sawant reaffirmed the government’s dedication to improving governance through enhanced infrastructure. “This project is a testament to our commitment to bring the administration closer to the people and ensure faster, more efficient public service,” he said.
The construction is scheduled for completion within 18 months. Once operational, the complex is expected to significantly improve the accessibility and effectiveness of government services in the Bicholim region.
The Government of Goa continues to prioritize development projects aimed at delivering transparent and citizen-friendly governance across the state.
