GOVERNOR ANNOUNCES KHUSHAL-KALYAN YATRA
Panaji: Governor Shri P.S. Sreedharan Pillai has announced a new initiative titled “Khushal–Kalyan Yatra,” aimed at promoting communal harmony and spiritual well-being across Goa. The yatra will include visits to temples, churches, dargahs, and gurudwaras in every taluka of the state.
The first phase of the yatra will commence on May 13, 2025, covering various religious places in South Goa, while the second phase will be held on May 15, 2025, in North Goa. During the yatra, the Governor will offer prayers at different places of worship, invoking divine blessings for peace, happiness, and the overall welfare of the people of Goa and the nation.
This initiative follows the Governor’s earlier outreach programs such as the Goa Gram Sampurna Yatra, Saimik Daiz Yatra, Dweep Parichay Yatra, and Goa Giriarohan Yatra, which have been instrumental in strengthening the connection between Raj Bhavan and the Goan populace.
As part of the South Goa itinerary on May 13, the Governor will visit:
