ASSESSMENT CAMPS FOR DIVYANGJAN ACROSS GOA FROM MAY 20 TO JUNE 2
Panaji : The Department for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Government of Goa, in collaboration with the Office of the State Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities and the Directorate of Planning, Statistics and Evaluation, in association with ALIMCO (a Government of India undertaking), will be conducting Assessment Camps for Divyangjan (Persons with Disabilities) across all talukas of Goa from May 20 to June 2, 2025, between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
These camps are organized under the ADIP Scheme, as part of the Swayampurna Goa 2.0 and Inclusive Goa initiatives. The aim is to identify and assess eligible persons with disabilities for free distribution of aids and appliances.

May 21 – Quepem: College of Arts/Commerce & Science, Quepem
May 22 – Canacona: Ravindra Bhavan, Canacona
May 23 – Curchorem: Chetna Education Society, Curchorem
May 24 – Dharbandora: Office of the Deputy Collector, Dharbandora
May 25 – Ponda: Ponda Sports Complex (Behind Indoor Stadium), Ponda
May 26 – Panjim: College of Pharmacy, Tiswadi
May 27 – Vasco: Sanjay Centre School, Vasco
May 28 – Margao: Ravindra Bhavan, Margao
May 30 – Valpoi: Valpoi Bus Stand (Marriage Hall), Valpoi
May 31 – Pernem: Sohirobanath Ambiye College, Pedne
June 1 – Mapusa: Peddem Sports Complex, Mapusa
June 2 – Sanquelim: Ravindra Bhavan, Sanquelim
More than 11,800 persons with disabilities across the state will be directly contacted through phone calls to inform them about the scheduled camps.
Eligibility Criteria:
Minimum 40% disability (UDID Certificate)
Monthly family income below ₹22,500 (with valid income proof)
Aadhaar card and address proof
No aid received in the last 3 years (1 year for children under 18 for certain items)
The camp will cover various categories of disability, including:
Locomotor Disability
Visual Impairment
Hearing Impairment
Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
All eligible Divyangjan are urged to participate in the camp with the required documents.
