Tiatr Academy of Goa to Hold Orientation Course in Tiatr
Panaji : The Tiatr Academy of Goa (TAG), an autonomous institution under the Government of Goa, is set to organize a one-day Orientation Course in Tiatr on June 2, 2025. The course will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Conference Hall of TAG, and will cover key elements of Tiatr such as direction, scriptwriting, acting, singing, and technical aspects.
The initiative is aimed at encouraging youth, college students, and aspiring tiatrists to actively engage with the Tiatr art form. Through expert-led sessions, participants will receive focused training in direction, stagecraft, make-up, and other essential areas, thereby enhancing the overall standard of Tiatr productions.
TAG hopes this course will help preserve and promote the rich cultural legacy of Tiatr, while nurturing a new generation of performers, writers, and backstage professionals. Participants will benefit from hands-on experience and insights from seasoned experts in the field.
