Goa Gears Up for International Yoga Day 2025: CM Dr. Pramod Sawant Reviews Preparations
Panaji : Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant chaired a high-level meeting at the Mantralaya today to review the preparations for the upcoming International Yoga Day 2025. The meeting was attended by Secretaries and senior officers from various departments.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister issued key directives aimed at promoting yoga and healthy living across the state. He emphasized the following initiatives:
Conducting Online Yoga Training Programs to reach a wider audience.
Allocating 30 minutes daily for Yoga practice and promotion in all schools.
Targeting Yoga Day celebrations at 30,000 locations across Goa.
Dr. Sawant reviewed the progress of ongoing preparations and urged officials to ensure timely and efficient execution of tasks. He stressed that the state should celebrate International Yoga Day with full enthusiasm and make healthy living a part of daily life.
“The objective is not just a grand celebration but to cultivate a long-term commitment to wellness through yoga,” stated the Chief Minister.
