Minister Vishwajit Rane Reviews Monsoon Preparedness in Valpoi
Valpoi, May 27: In a proactive step towards ensuring public safety ahead of the monsoon season, Minister Vishwajit Rane chaired a crucial meeting with the Valpoi Municipal Council, Sarpanch, and Panch members. The meeting was held in the presence of key stakeholders, including the Mamlatdar of Sattari Taluka, Police Inspector (Traffic Cell), Health Officer, Executive Engineer (PWD), and other senior officials.
Recognizing the intensity of rainfall Valpoi typically experiences and the potential threats it poses, Minister Rane directed the concerned departments to urgently prioritize road repairs, secure and inspect all street pole electricity cables, and ensure medical teams are on standby to respond swiftly in case of emergencies.
“Our priority is the safety and well-being of every citizen. The administration is fully mobilized to handle any situation that may arise due to the monsoon,” said Minister Rane.
The meeting highlighted coordinated efforts across departments to mitigate risks, emphasizing infrastructure readiness and healthcare accessibility in the region.
