Applications Invited for Project Assistant Post at Goa University
Panaji : Goa University has invited applications from eligible candidates for one post of Project Assistant (PA) to work on a prestigious research project titled “Electrochemical Synthesis of Environmentally Benign Carbon Quantum Dots: Applications in Heavy Metal Sensing and as Catalyst for Multicomponent Synthesis of N-based Heterocycles.” The project is sponsored by the Goa State Research Foundation (GSRF) under the Government of Goa.
The research will be conducted at the School of Chemical Sciences (SCS), Goa University, under the guidance of Dr. Sandesh Bugde, Principal Investigator from the Chemistry Programme at SCS. The project has a duration of three years.
Eligibility Criteria:
Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in Organic Chemistry with a minimum of 55% marks.
Age Limit: Not more than 35 years.
Fellowship: ₹20,000 per month.
Application Process: Interested candidates must submit an application on plain paper addressed to the Principal Investigator, along with self-attested copies of relevant certificates and mark sheets. The application should reach the School of Chemical Sciences, Goa University, Taleigao Plateau, Goa 403206 on or before June 4, 2025.
Eligible candidates are required to attend a Walk-in Interview scheduled for June 11, 2025, at 3:00 PM at the School of Chemical Sciences, Goa University. Applicants must bring original documents for verification during the interview.
