Swami Rambhadracharya Seeks PoK as ‘Guru Dakshina’ During Meeting With Army Chief
Chitrakoot: In a symbolic and spiritual gesture that has stirred national interest, Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi paid a visit to renowned spiritual leader Jagadguru Swami Rambhadracharya at his ashram in Chitrakoot to seek blessings.
During the meeting, Swami Rambhadracharya initiated the Army Chief with the Ram Mantra, drawing parallels to the divine empowerment of Lord Hanuman before his conquest of Lanka. “I gave him the same Diksha (initiation) with the Ram Mantra which Lord Hanuman had received… and then conquered Lanka,” said the revered spiritual figure.
In a powerful statement that merged spirituality with patriotism, the Swami added, “I have asked for Dakshina from him, and I want PoK (Pakistan-occupied Kashmir) back.” His remarks reflect a long-standing national sentiment regarding the reintegration of PoK with India.
The Indian Army has not officially commented on the Swami’s statement, but the interaction has drawn attention across political and social platforms, symbolizing the blend of spiritual blessing and nationalistic aspiration.
General Dwivedi’s visit comes amid ongoing discussions on national security and territorial integrity, with the Army Chief previously asserting that the Indian Army is ready to execute orders regarding PoK if given by the government.
