In the healthcare sector, the Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) has emerged as a landmark reform, offering universal health coverage to the most vulnerable. With over 9 crore free hospital admissions recorded under the scheme, millions of families have been shielded from the burden of catastrophic health expenses, especially in rural and economically weaker sections of society.
