MLA Kedar Naik Lays Foundation Stone for New Futsal Ground at Pilerne
Pilerne :- In a significant step towards promoting sports and community engagement in the region, MLA Shri Kedar Naik laid the foundation stone for a new Futsal ground at Pilerne. The event was marked by the presence of several key dignitaries and local representatives.
Joining the MLA at the ceremony were Shri Shankar Chodankar, North Goa Zilla Panchayat President; Shri Sandeep Bandodkar, ZP Member from Reis Magos; Dr. Ajay Gaude, Circle Officer; Shri Devendra Arlekar, Agriculture Officer; Smt. Reshma Bandodkar, Sarpanch of Pilerne; and Shri Ajay Govekar, Deputy Sarpanch.
Also present were Panchayat Members Smt. Ankita Naik, Smt. Ashwini Chodankar, Shri Santosh Bandodkar, Shri Akshay Govekar, Shri Sayaji Rane, and Shri Karan Govekar, VDC Convenor, along with several enthusiastic locals and sports lovers.
The Futsal ground, once completed, is expected to provide a much-needed sports facility for youth and residents of Pilerne and surrounding areas, encouraging active participation in physical activities and organized sports.
A special note of gratitude was extended to the local landowners who generously handed over the open space to the Panchayat, enabling the realization of this important development project.
MLA Kedar Naik, in his address, emphasized the government’s commitment to grassroots development and assured continued support for infrastructural and sports initiatives in the region.
