MLA Deviya Rane Inaugurates Long-Awaited KTCL Bus Service from Parye to Valpoi
Parye : Fulfilling a key promise after three years of persistent efforts, MLA Deviya Rane inaugurated the much-anticipated KTCL bus service from Parye to Valpoi via Morlem Colony. The service aims to meet the long-standing demands of students and residents from several rural areas including Karanzol, Valpoi, Honda, Morlem, Parye, and Sankhalim.
The newly introduced bus route is expected to bring major relief to the students of Shri Bhumika Higher Secondary School, who until now faced serious difficulties due to irregular and delayed public transport. The lack of timely buses often resulted in students missing vital classes and, in many cases, even discontinuing their education.
“This initiative is a major step toward improving educational access and rural mobility. It is the result of continuous follow-up and dialogue with relevant authorities, and I’m grateful to everyone who made this possible,” said MLA Deviya Rane during the inauguration.
The project was made possible through the active support of Transport Minister Shri Mauvin Godinho and KTCL Chairman Shri Ulhas Tuenkar, whose cooperation was pivotal in bringing the service to fruition.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by several prominent figures, including Zilla Panchayat Member Shri Sagun Wadkar, Smt. Devyani Gawas, Parye Sarpanch Smt. Deepa Naik, and Panchayat Members of Parye. KTCL officials present included Roque Luis, Dipaki Phadte, and Sarvajit Barve. School representatives also joined the event, including Principal Shri Yeshwant Sawant, Manager Shri Shivajirao Rane Sardesai, Secretary Shri Kusta Rane, Vice Principal Shri Rao Saheb Rane, and Shri Mohan Narvekar.
This new service is part of a broader developmental vision to strengthen regional connectivity, empower the youth through improved access to education, and uplift rural infrastructure across the constituency.
