CM Pramod Sawant Chairs Meeting with CREDAI Officials to Strengthen Housing, Skilling, and Green Initiatives
Panaji : Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant chaired a high-level meeting with representatives of the Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (CREDAI) at Mantralaya today. The discussion focused on collaborative efforts to promote sustainable development, enhance workforce capabilities, and ensure the welfare of construction workers.
Key points of discussion included:
Promoting Reforestation: Emphasis was laid on boosting afforestation efforts through CREDAI’s ongoing and future initiatives, contributing to Goa’s environmental goals.
Skill Development: Launching skilling and certification programs for construction workers in collaboration with NSDL to enhance employability and professionalism in the sector.
Welfare Fund Utilization: Strategizing effective utilization of the construction workers’ welfare fund to improve their quality of life and workplace safety.
Affordable Housing: Reaffirming the government’s commitment to affordable housing, in alignment with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision for ‘Housing for All’.
Chief Minister Sawant congratulated CREDAI for its proactive role in upskilling the workforce and contributing to environmental sustainability through afforestation. He assured full support from the Government of Goa for CREDAI’s progressive initiatives.
