IMB to Organize All Goa Level Patriotic Song Competition for Students on Goa Revolution Day
Panaji : In an effort to preserve and promote Goa’s rich cultural heritage and literary traditions, the Institute Menezes Braganza (IMB), Panaji, will be organizing an All Goa Level Group Patriotic Song Singing Competition for Higher Secondary School students on the occasion of Goa Revolution Day.
The event is scheduled to take place on June 18, 2025, from 2:30 p.m. onwards at the Institute Menezes Braganza Hall, Panaji. The competition aims to instill a sense of patriotism among students and encourage participation in cultural programs that honor Goa’s revolutionary past.
Following the competition, a prize distribution ceremony will be held to recognize the winning teams for their performances.
Adding further significance to the occasion, renowned freedom fighter Padmashree Libia Lobo Sardesai will be felicitated during the concluding function. The event will also be graced by Minister for Social Welfare Shri Subhash Faldesai, who will be the Chief Guest, and President of the Goa Marathi Academy Shri Anil Samant, who will be the Guest of Honor.
The IMB’s initiative underscores its ongoing commitment to nurturing cultural values among the youth and paying tribute to Goa’s historical legacy.
