GOA REVOLUTION DAY TO BE CELEBRATED ON JUNE 18
Panaji : The State-Level Goa Revolution Day celebration will be held on June 18, 2025, at the Martyr’s Memorial, Azad Maidan, Panaji at 8:45 AM. On this occasion, Governor, Chief Minister, Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Ministers, Leader of Opposition, freedom fighters, and other dignitaries will pay floral tributes at the memorial in honour of the martyrs of Goa’s freedom struggle.
Simultaneously, Goa Revolution Day will also be commemorated at Lohia Maidan, Margao at 8:45 AM, where Shri Subhash Phal Dessai, Minister for Social Welfare, will be the Chief Guest.
At Kranti Maidan, Ponda, the Chief Guest will be Shri Ravi Naik, Minister for Agriculture, Handicrafts, Textile and Coir, Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs.
These commemorations pay homage to the sacrifices made during Goa’s struggle for liberation and reaffirm the state’s commitment to upholding the ideals of freedom and democracy.
