DPSE Invites Public Suggestions for ‘Viksit Goa @ 2047’ Vision Document

Panaji : The Directorate of Planning, Statistics & Evaluation (DPSE) has invited suggestions and views from the general public for the preparation of the ‘Viksit Goa @ 2047’ Vision Document. This initiative is in alignment with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s ‘Viksit Bharat @ 2047’ mission, aiming to transform Goa into a fully developed state over the next two decades.

The Vision Document will be structured around five core pillars:

1. Infrastructure

2. Physical Infrastructure

3. Economic & Social Infrastructure

4. Institutional Infrastructure

5. Environmental Infrastructure

The roadmap for development will be divided into three phases: Vision 2030, Vision 2037, and Vision 2047, covering key sectors such as Economy, Agriculture, Fisheries, Livestock, Health, Education, Skilling, Employment, Mining, Industry, Sports, Youth Development, Environment, Climate Change, Tourism, Culture, Energy, Forestry, Marine Economy, Transport, and Logistics.

The initiative lays special emphasis on the welfare of Youth (Yuva), Poor (Garib), Women (Mahilayen), and Farmers (Annadata), reflecting the inclusive approach of the government.

Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant had earlier launched a QR Code on April 9, 2025, to facilitate online submission of views and suggestions. Public inputs will be accepted till June 30, 2025.

For those who could not access the online method, the government has now introduced a Missed Call facility through the number 9953953333. Upon receiving a missed call, a telecaller executive will get in touch to record the individual’s suggestions over the phone.

The Chief Minister has urged all Goans to actively participate in this vital exercise, assuring that every contribution—whether from individuals or institutions—will be thoroughly reviewed and considered in the drafting of the Viksit Goa @ 2047 vision document.
