Camps in Sattari and Tiswadi to Boost Tribal Welfare in July
Panaji : In a major push towards tribal development, the Government will organize special camps under the Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) in the month of July. These camps aim to bridge critical gaps in tribal areas by providing access to essential services and welfare schemes.
The camps are scheduled as follows:
Bironda Panchayat, Sattari – July 1, 2025
Honda Panchayat, Sattari – July 2, 2025
Batim Panchayat, Siridao, Tiswadi – July 4, 2025
The initiative will focus on multiple aspects of rural and tribal upliftment such as:
Safe housing and clean drinking water
Improved sanitation and healthcare services
Quality education and better nutrition for children
Reliable electricity and promotion of renewable energy
Enhanced road and telecom connectivity
Livelihood generation through convergence of government schemes
These camps reflect the government’s commitment to the Viksit Bharat Vision 2047 and the Social Goals of Social Welfare (SGoS), aiming at inclusive and sustainable development of tribal communities across Goa.
Officials from various departments will be present to assist villagers and ensure that maximum benefits reach the grassroots.
