SpaceX Starship Explodes During Testing in Texas

SpaceX’s Starship spacecraft exploded in a massive fireball during a late-night test at its Texas Starbase on Wednesday. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. while preparing for its 10th test flight. The company blamed a “major anomaly,” possibly due to a nitrogen gas unit failure.
Though no injuries were reported, dramatic video showed two rapid explosions lighting up the night sky. This marks the latest setback for Elon Musk’s Mars-bound rocket, which has faced multiple failures this year, including mid-air breakups and engine malfunctions.
SpaceX is investigating the cause and coordinating with authorities on safety and environmental impacts.
