CM Pramod Sawant Participates in Tree Plantation Drive at Sankhali
Sankhali : Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant actively participated in a Tree Plantation Drive organized by the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) at Sankhali, as part of the “11 Years of Seva, Sushasan, Garib Kalyan” celebrations. The drive was held under the banner of Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam, an initiative launched by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji to promote environmental consciousness and honor motherhood through nature.
The CM was joined by local MLA Shri Premendra Shet and several BJYM volunteers in planting saplings as a symbolic commitment to sustainable development and ecological preservation.
Congratulating BJYM for its proactive step, CM Sawant said, “I appreciate the Sankalp taken by the BJYM and appeal to every Goan to participate in the Tree Plantation Drive across the state. Let us all contribute to a greener and healthier Goa.”
The event saw enthusiastic participation and served as a reminder of the collective responsibility toward environmental protection.
