Sarathi Model Cluster Foundation Day Marks Major Stride in Women’s Empowerment and Rural Development
Panjim : Sancoale witnessed a landmark moment with the celebration of the 1st Foundation Day of the Sarathi Model Cluster Level Federation, dedicated to advancing women’s empowerment and rural development. The event was marked by the distribution of sewing machines to Self-Help Group (SHG) members, under the CSR initiative of Paradeep Phosphates Limited. These machines were hailed as tools of empowerment, enabling women to become self-reliant and financially independent.
Addressing the gathering, the chief guest emphasized the strength, determination, and talent of women, stating, “What our women can do, our men often can’t.” He further urged a focus on marketing, quality control, and technology integration to take SHG products to global platforms and turn local efforts into globally recognized successes.
