Calangute: Naikavaddo secured a commanding 7-0 victory over Fuldem Rauta Vaddo Arpora in the Santa Maria Tournament, propelling them to the semi-finals. The match showcased Naikavaddo’s exceptional skill and teamwork. Tanay Kerkar scored four goals, with two of them coming from precise finishes after receiving through balls in the first half, and the other two resulting from clever runs behind the defense, creating scoring opportunities. Runal Shirodkar netted two goals, one of which was a beautifully executed one-on-one finish, showcasing his speed and agility on the field. Kinan added one goal to the tally with a clinical header, demonstrating his precision and composure in front of the goal.
Naikavaddo dominated the first half, employing a high-intensity pressing game that forced Fuldem Rauta Vaddo Arpora to make errors in possession. Their possession-based style allowed them to control the tempo, creating scoring opportunities through intricate build-ups.
