Road Repairs in the State Within 15 Days – Assurance from Chief Engineer Uttam Parsekar
Panaji : Most of the roads in the state are in a severely dilapidated condition, with potholes in many areas causing great inconvenience to the public. Against this backdrop, a delegation from the Aam Aadmi Party met with Uttam Parsekar, the Chief Engineer of the Public Works Department, today.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding damaged roads in various parts of Goa, incomplete asphalting, and potholes caused by rain, which are troubling citizens. The delegation also highlighted the accidents occurring during the monsoon, traffic obstructions, and health hazards caused by poor road conditions.
Chief Engineer Parsekar took immediate note of the concerns and assured the Aam Aadmi Party representatives that the necessary road repairs would be carried out within the next 15 days.
After the meeting, Aam Aadmi Party leader Amit Palekar stated, “It is the administration’s responsibility to ensure safe and smooth transportation for the common people in the state. We are firm on this issue, and the assurances given must be implemented effectively.”
Other local party officials were also part of the delegation. Palekar added that the Aam Aadmi Party would continue to monitor the progress of the road repair work in the coming days.
