CM Pramod Sawant Inaugurates State-Level Bankers’ Conclave by GSRLM
Panaji : Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant inaugurated the State-Level Bankers’ Conclave organized by the Goa State Rural Livelihood Mission (GSRLM), highlighting the vital role of Self-Help Groups (SHGs), Village Organisations, and flagship schemes like the Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana in realizing the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat and Swayampurna Goa.
Dr. Sawant emphasized that over 23,000 women and rural citizens are being empowered through these initiatives. The conclave spotlighted key achievements of GSRLM:
3,250 SHGs formed across the state
Over ₹365 crore in bank linkages enabled
₹2,484 crore mobilized under Community Investment Funds
Monthly turnover of over ₹13 lakh generated by 170 Annapurna SHGs
14 SHG-run canteens operational in various parts of Goa
The Chief Minister urged banks to enhance credit outreach to SHGs, design women-centric financial products, and promote digital literacy and enterprise training. He reiterated the state’s commitment to building a financially inclusive and self-reliant Goa, with women-led rural enterprises at its core.
