MLA Krishna Daji Salkar Welcomes Goan Pilgrims Returning from Mecca
Vasco : MLA Krishna Daji Salkar extended a heartfelt welcome to the group of pilgrims from Goa who returned after completing their deeply spiritual and successful Hajj pilgrimage to Mecca.
The homecoming ceremony, marked by warmth and reverence, was attended by several prominent leaders. BJP Goa President Shri Damu Naik, Margao MLA Shri Digambar Kamat, Shri Urfan Mulla, and Shri Shamir Palledar joined MLA Salkar in greeting the returning faithful.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Salkar expressed his joy and pride at seeing the safe and successful return of Goan pilgrims. “It was a moment of unity, faith, and cultural pride. The devotion and discipline shown by our pilgrims reflect the spiritual strength of Goa,” he said.
The gathering also highlighted the spirit of communal harmony and mutual respect that defines Goa’s social fabric.
