SHRIPAD NAIK FELICITATES MERITORIOUS STUDENTS AT COLVALE
Panaji : Union Minister for New and Renewable Energy, Shri Shripad Naik recently felicitated meritorious students of Diogo Vaz Higher Secondary School, Colvale, at a special ceremony. Minister for Fisheries, Shri Nilkanth Halarnkar, along with school officials and parents, also graced the occasion.
Students from Classes XI and XII who secured top positions in Arts, Commerce, and Science streams for the academic year 2024–2025 were honoured with certificates, scholarships, and mementos. Subject toppers and outstanding achievers in academics and sports were also recognised.
Shri Naik encouraged students to maintain discipline and dedication for the nation’s bright future. He also donated computers, projectors, and a Xerox machine to the school under the MPLAD Scheme.
The event included a prayer, lamp lighting, and cultural elements. Sir Aditya Shetkar and Tr. Tanvi Vaze compered the function, while Tr. Saiesha Parab delivered the vote of thanks.
