MLA Jit Arolkar Facilitates ₹1 Lakh Aid from CM Relief Fund to Bereaved Family in Mandrem
Mandrem : In a humane and compassionate initiative, Mandrem MLA Shri Jit Arolkar has facilitated the extension of financial assistance amounting to ₹1 lakh from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to Shri Desmond and Shri Joseph Fernandes, sons of the late Mrs. Maria Fernandes of Junaswada, Mandrem.
Mrs. Fernandes tragically lost her life in what is suspected to be a premeditated accident, leaving behind a devastated family facing emotional and financial turmoil.
Acknowledging the irreparable loss and the severe disruption to the family’s means of livelihood, this financial aid aims to provide some immediate relief and moral support during this period of profound grief.
MLA Arolkar expressed his solidarity with the grieving family and reaffirmed his commitment to stand by constituents in times of distress. The government, through such gestures, continues to demonstrate its resolve to support those affected by tragic circumstances.
