PM Modi Honoured with Highest Civilian Awards from 24 Countries; First Indian Leader to Achieve This Distinction
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has achieved yet another historic milestone. He has been conferred with the highest civilian honours by 24 countries, making him the first Indian leader to receive such a large number of international decorations.

Russia – Order of St. Andrew
United Arab Emirates (UAE) – Zayed Medal
France – Grand Cross of the Legion of Honour
Maldives – Rule of Nishan Izzuddin
Bhutan – Order of the Druk Gyalpo
Saudi Arabia – King Abdulaziz Sash
Palestine – Grand Collar of the State of Palestine
Australia – Companion of the Order of Australia (Honorary)
Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, South Korea, Fiji, Seychelles, Barbados, Papua New Guinea, Mauritius, Iran, Egypt, Qatar, Kenya, Ghana
Ghana recently conferred its highest civilian award, the Officer of the Order of the Star of Ghana, upon PM Modi, taking the total number of such honours to 24.
While accepting the award, Prime Minister Modi dedicated the recognition to the 1.4 billion people of India, especially the youth, and highlighted the importance of India’s cultural diversity and values.
These honours reinforce PM Modi’s global statesmanship and reflect India’s growing influence on the international stage.
