Goa BJP President Damu Naik Pays Tribute to Swami Vivekananda; Participates in Tree Plantation Drive
Margao : Goa BJP President Shri Damu Naik paid floral tribute and addressed a gathering at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao, during the solemn commemoration of the 123rd Punyatithi of Swami Vivekananda.
In his address, Shri Naik highlighted Swami Vivekananda’s timeless legacy, stating, “Swamiji’s teachings of strength, service, and spiritual awakening continue to inspire generations across the nation. His vision for India remains as relevant today as it was over a century ago.”
As a part of the occasion, a tree plantation drive was also organized under the national initiative Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam, symbolizing a tribute to both Mother Earth and the ideals Swamiji stood for.
Shri Damu Naik was joined by Shri Digambar Kamat (MLA – Margao), Shri Manohar Borkar (Vice Chairman, Ravindra Bhavan), Smt. Deepali Naik (Project Director – RDA), and several members of Ravindra Bhavan in planting saplings in the premises.
The event successfully merged environmental consciousness with cultural reverence, drawing participation from community leaders, officials, and citizens alike.
