PM Modi Showcases India’s Cultural Heritage Through Handcrafted Gifts on Five-Nation Tour
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his ongoing five-nation tour from July 2 to 9, has highlighted India’s rich cultural heritage by presenting handcrafted gifts to global leaders, showcasing the country’s artistic traditions. In Argentina, PM Modi gifted President Javier Milei a hand-etched silver lion mounted on a Fuchsite stone, symbolising courage and resilience. To Vice President Victoria Villarruel, he presented a traditional Madhubani painting of the Sun, reflecting Bihar’s Mithila artistry.
In Trinidad and Tobago, Prime Minister Kamla Persad-Bissessar received two symbolic gifts: a Kalash with sacred water from the Sarayu River, and a pure silver replica of the Ayodhya Ram Temple both underscoring India’s spiritual and temple traditions. These gestures of cultural diplomacy underscore India’s commitment to deepening ties with countries like Ghana, Namibia, Brazil, Argentina, and Trinidad and Tobago, while celebrating the nation’s timeless craftsmanship and spiritual identity on the global stage.
