Congress Leaders Hold ‘Samvidhan Bachao Abhiyan’ Meet in Curchorem, Sanvordem & Sanguem
Curchorem : In a strong show of unity and resolve, Congress karyakartas from Curchorem, Sanvordem, and Sanguem participated in a ‘Samvidhan Bachao Abhiyan’ block-level meeting aimed at protecting the Constitution and upholding democratic values.
Held in Curchorem the home constituency of a key party leader the meeting took on a deeply personal tone, highlighting the urgency of resisting authoritarianism and defending the foundational principles of Indian democracy.
Present at the event were Goa Pradesh Congress Committee President Amit Patkar, Leader of Opposition Yuri Alemao, South Goa MP Capt. Viriato Fernandes, MLA Altone D’Costa, South Goa District President Savio D’Silva, Mahesh Nadar, Dr. Pratiksha Khalap, Nitin Chopdekar, Pelagia Raposo, Block Presidents George D’Souza and Sanket Bhandari, along with Sanguem Block Convenor Jitendra Naik.
The leadership reiterated their commitment to grassroots activism and resistance against injustice, calling upon party workers to remain vigilant and vocal in defence of constitutional values.
