Shocking Murder of Odisha Labourer at Construction Site in Parra, Goa
Mapusa : In a disturbing incident, a labourer from Odisha was brutally murdered at a construction site in Parra, North Goa. The police have detained two suspects Kankadhar Satya (50) and his son Thabir, both residents of Khaliakani, Amurlapadar, Odisha who were working at the same site.
Based on the preliminary investigation, police have registered a case of murder against the duo. Though the exact motive behind the crime remains unclear, initial findings suggest a possible dispute among the labourers may have led to the killing.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be confirmed. Forensic experts from the FSL (Forensic Science Laboratory) have collected crucial evidence from the crime scene. A detailed inspection was carried out in the presence of police inspectors and senior officials.
Authorities are also searching for the weapon used in the crime. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination, and police are rigorously interrogating the suspects. Senior police sources have assured that the case is progressing swiftly and the mystery behind the murder will soon be solved.
