MLA Kedar Naik Lays Foundation Stone for Ganapati Visarjan Shed Renovation at Omkar Dam, Sangolda
Sangolda : In a step towards improving infrastructure for religious and community events, Saligao MLA Shri Kedar Naik laid the foundation stone for the renovation of the Ganapati Visarjan Shed at Omkar Dam, Sangolda. The project is being executed through the Zilla Panchayat (ZP) Fund.
MLA Naik was joined by ZP Member Shri Sandeep Bandodkar (Reis Magos), Sarpanch Smt. Neeta Kandolkar, Dy. Sarpanch Shri Ulhas Morajkar, and Panchayat members Shri Avinash Naik, Smt. Jalisha Tulaskar, Shri Nilkant Naik, Smt. Minolet Lopes, Smt. Wilma Alvares, along with Senior BJP Karyakarta Shri Shamba Tuyekar, Shri Premanand Kochrekar, and enthusiastic local residents.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Naik emphasized that the initiative aims to enhance facilities and ensure safety during the annual Ganesh festivities, which draw significant public participation in Sangolda and the surrounding areas.
“This project is part of our ongoing commitment to strengthen cultural infrastructure and improve public amenities for our people. We remain dedicated to building a better and more vibrant Saligao,” he added.
Local leaders and residents expressed their appreciation for the timely initiative, noting its importance for community well-being and festive celebrations.
