Governor Concludes “Khushal Kalyan Yatra” with Visits to Three Holy Sites in Panaji
Panaji : Governor of Goa, Shri P.S. Sreedharan Pillai, concluded his statewide initiative “Khushal Kalyan Yatra” today with visits to three prominent holy places in the capital city. Accompanying him was the First Lady of Goa, Smt. Rita Sreedharan Pillai.
On the final day of the yatra, the Governor visited Shree Mahalaxmi Temple, Jama Masjid, and Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church in Panaji, reflecting the spirit of communal harmony and inclusive development.
As part of this yatra, the Governor donated a total of approximately ₹20 lakhs to various religious institutions across the state, including the three visited today. These contributions aim to support maintenance, infrastructure, and community welfare activities at the respective sites.
The “Khushal Kalyan Yatra” has been an outreach effort by the Governor to promote unity, cultural respect, and well-being across different sections of Goan society.
