Digital Journalists Seek Press Room in Mapusa Municipality
Mapusa : The All Goa Digital Journalist Association (AGDJA) has submitted a memorandum to the Mapusa Municipality, requesting the allotment of a Press Room to support digital media professionals. AGDJA President Kamlakar Humraskar emphasized the increasing significance of digital journalism and the need for dedicated infrastructure to ensure timely and effective news reporting.
The association assured that the Press Room would be utilized responsibly and would contribute positively to the local media environment. Treasurer Sagar Lawande was also present during the meeting.
AGDJA’s move aims to improve working conditions for digital journalists in the region and encourage professional and ethical reporting. The association now awaits a positive response from the Mapusa Municipal Council to help strengthen grassroots journalism in Bardez.
