Goa Govt Signs Landmark MoU with Google to Integrate AI in Governance
Panaji : Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant today witnessed the signing of a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Government of Goa and Google LLC, marking a major step toward integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the state’s governance framework.
The partnership aims to enhance public service delivery through AI-driven automation, land monitoring, emergency response systems, and improved multilingual access for citizens. The collaboration is expected to enable smarter, faster, and more inclusive governance.
Google will also assist in capacity-building initiatives by offering AI training programs for government staff and Goan youth, helping create a tech-skilled and future-ready workforce.
“This collaboration with Google will empower Goa to lead in digital governance and youth upskilling,” said CM Sawant.
