Goa Honoured with Prestigious Agriculture Leadership Award 2025
Panaji : Goa has been conferred with the esteemed Agriculture Leadership Award 2025 by the Agriculture Today Group, recognising the state’s outstanding initiatives and achievements in the field of agriculture and horticulture.
In a formal ceremony, the award was presented to the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Dr. Pramod Sawant by Minister for Agriculture Shri Ravi S. Naik, Chairman of Goa State Horticulture Corporation Ltd., Shri Premendra Vishnu Shet, and Director of Agriculture, Shri Sandeep Foldessai.
Chief Minister Dr. Sawant expressed pride in Goa’s consistent efforts to empower farmers, promote organic and sustainable farming, and strengthen horticulture infrastructure. He credited the award to the collective efforts of the state’s farming community, agriculture officers, and stakeholders in the agri sector.
The Agriculture Leadership Award is one of India’s most respected recognitions in the agricultural domain, aimed at promoting innovations, policy reforms, and farmer-centric development.
