Warm Farewell Accorded to Governor Shri P. S. Sreedharan Pillai
A warm farewell was accorded to Governor Shri P. S. Sreedharan Pillai at the New Durbar Hall, Raj Bhavan, ahead of his departure to his hometown. He presided over a “Financial Aid Distribution” ceremony, where aid was extended to 38 cancer and dialysis patients, along with support to institutions and students.
Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, Union Minister of State Shri Shripad Naik, Health Minister Shri Vishwajeet Rane, Goa University VC Prof. H.B. Menon, and other dignitaries graced the event.
CM Sawant praised the Governor’s accessibility and support to the state. Shri Pillai expressed gratitude to the people of Goa and the government for their cooperation.
Shri Shripad Naik highlighted the Governor’s compassionate role, especially his aid initiatives that touched many lives.
The First Lady, Smt. Rita Shreedharan Pillai, also attended the event.
A Guard of Honour was presented to the Governor, marking an emotional and respectful farewell.
