Sinquerim: Calangute Association triumphed in the Vedanta Inter-Village Football Tournament 2025, defeating FC Siolim Sports Club 3-0 in the final at Sinquerim SC ground. Runal Shirodkar opened the scoring in the 15th minute, followed by Domnic Fernandes in the 30th, and Jovito Fernandes sealed the win in the 70th minute. Cydon D’souza was awarded Best Goalkeeper, while Jovito Fernandes bagged both Player of the Tournament and Man of the Match. Domnic Fernandes earned Best Midfielder, and a player from FC Siolim Sports Club took home Best Defender. Calangute’s solid defense and clinical attack dominated the match, overcoming Siolim’s spirited second-half efforts. The tournament concluded with a thrilling display of village football excellence.
