The process of setting up a health centre for Arpora Nagoa is the pipeline: MLA Michael Lobo
CALANGUTE: Calangute MLA, Michael Lobo has said that the process of setting up a health centre for the village of Arpora-Nagoa is in the pipeline and the work is 95 per cent complete
Lobo was speaking to reports after launching a sewerage tanker for the people of Arpora Nagoa. Besides lobo also present were Arpora Nagoa Sarpanch Roshan Redkar and other panch members. The tanker has been donated by Acron developers as part of their co-operate social responsibility The new vehicle has been introduced to solve the issues of contamination due to sewage leakage
The new PHC will be a big project with ground plus one structure and there will be Various facilities available to the people like ,where they can come and do blood tests and avail of other medical facilities and this PHC will come up utilizing funds from CSR activity of various business establishments” lobo further added
Speaking further Sarpanch Roshan Redkar said that due to the absence of sewerage tanker the sewage was allowed to flow into the drains and on roads so we are thankful to acorn developers for providing us with the vehicle which will help in solving the sewerage issue .
meanwhile reacting to the Assagao house demolition issue, Calangute MLA Michael Lobo said that he will raise the issue in the upcoming assembly session as this is a serious issue concerning Goa and the goans
there is a need for a thorough investigation by the DGP into the Assagao demolition issue. He emphasized that the previously suspended PI and police officers should be reinstated. Lobo insists that the matter be handled logically and transparently to ensure justice and accountability lobo further added that he will raise the issue in the upcoming assembly session
