FIRE BREAKS OUT IN AC UNIT NEAR OLD ASILO HOSPITAL IN MAPUSA.
Mapusa, Goa – A fire broke out in an air conditioning unit located on the first floor of a building opposite Prabhu Chambers, near the old Asilo Hospital, in Mapusa on 28th October .
According to eyewitnesses, the fire started around 12.40 Pm and quickly spread to the surrounding area, causing panic among locals and shopkeepers. Firefighters from the Mapusa Fire Station rushed to the scene and brought the blaze under control within minutes, preventing any major damage or loss of life. “The fire was confined to the AC unit and was extinguished quickly,” said a fire department official. “We are investigating the cause of the fire.”
No injuries or casualties were reported.
