Selection Trials for 68th National School Games.
The Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs will be conducting selection trials to depute Goa State teams at the 68th National School Games to be held at Madhya Pradesh. The selection trials will be held as follows:
For Kabaddi (U-17 Boys and Girls), the venue is Multipurpose Indoor Hall, Fatorda, Margao on November 07,2024.
For Badminton (U-14 Boys and Girls and U-19 Boys), the selection date is November 08, 2024 at Manohar Parrikar Indoor Stadium Navelim, Goa and for Badminton (U-17 Boys and Girls and U-19 Girls), the selection date is November 09, 2024 at Manohar Parrikar Indoor Stadium Navelim, Goa.
The reporting time for the above selections is 9.30 am and in-charge is Shri Manthan Adpaikar TSO Salcete, Contact number 9094762221 and Shri Aditya Sangelkar TSO Sanguem, Contact number 9923698016.
For Chess (U-17 Boys and Girls), the selection date is November 08, 2024 at Multipurpose Indoor Hall, Fatorda, Margao . The reporting time is 9.30 am and in-charge is Shri Shailesh Gaonkar TSO Ponda Contact number 9823120623 and Shri Prakash Velip TSO Dharbandora 7030638967.
The eligibility for Kabaddi, Badminton and Chess U-14, U-17 and U-19 Boys and Girls are as follows: Eligibility to participate in U-14 yrs group on or after 01-01-2011 and 6th to 12th class; Eligibility to participate in U-17 yrs age group on or after 01-01-2008 and 6th to 12th class; eligibility to participate in U-19 yrs age group on or after 01-01-2006 and 6th to 12th class.
Participants should be regular enrolled students of the school/Jr College they represent and shall report to the Incharge office on respective dates at 9.30 am with their school ID cards/Sports cards and 3 passport size photographs.
