CM DR. PRAMOD SAWANT INAUGURATES JOHN DISTILLERIES’ NEW PLANT AT CUNCOLIM
Cuncolim: Goa, 7th Nov – Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant yesterday inaugurated the new plant of John Distilleries at Cuncolim Industrial Estate, marking a significant milestone in Goa’s industrial growth.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Minister for Environment Shri. Aleixo Sequeira, MLA of Curchorem Shri. Nilesh Cabral, MLA of Fatorda Shri. Vijay Sardesai, Chairman and Managing Director of John Distilleries Mr. Paul John, and CEO and President of Sazerac USA Mr. Jake Wenz.
The new plant is expected to generate employment opportunities and contribute to the state’s economic growth. Speaking at the inauguration, Chief Minister Dr. Sawant emphasized the government’s commitment to promoting industrial development in Goa.
John Distilleries, a leading player in the Indian spirits industry, has invested significantly in the new plant, which will increase its production capacity. Chairman and Managing Director Mr. Paul John expressed gratitude to the state government for its support.
The plant’s inauguration also highlighted John Distilleries’ partnership with Sazerac USA, a leading spirits company. CEO and President of Sazerac USA Mr. Jake Wenz praised the collaboration, stating it would strengthen both companies’ presence in the global market.
