Calangute: A massive traffic jam brought Calangute to a grinding halt, with vehicles crawling from St. Anthony Chapel to St Alex Church. The cause of the congestion? road digging for electricity cable installation, a crucial infrastructure upgrade that’s frustrating residents and tourists alike.

“It’s a nightmare,” said Mario D’Souza, a local resident. “I’ve spent hours stuck in traffic, just trying to reach the market.”
“I’m tired of seeing dug-up roads that aren’t properly restored,” added a shop owner. “It’s affecting our business and daily lives.”
