PHDCCI Hosts 14th International Heritage Tourism Conclave in Vadodara
The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI), in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and Gujarat Tourism, hosted its 14th International Heritage Tourism Conclave on July 25 at Lukshmi Villas Palace, Vadodara. Themed “Cherishing Heritage”, the event brought together policymakers, royals, architects, and tourism professionals to explore heritage-led tourism. Gujarat Tourism Secretary Rajender Kumar emphasized community benefits through heritage initiatives. HH Samarjitsinh Gaekwad and other dignitaries stressed keeping heritage relevant. Highlights included the launch of the PHDCCI-KPMG Heritage Tourism Report, a session on Gujarat’s artisan-focused model, and culinary heritage led by Chef Pritesh Raut. Women’s roles, heritage transport, and digital storytelling were also spotlighted. Over 25 B2B meetings and immersive experiences like a heritage walk and art showcase enriched the conclave.
