PORVORIM SAHELI ORGANISES SAHELI SYMPOSIUM
Giants Group of Porvorim Sahelis hosted the Saheli Symposium Giants Welfare Foundation Federation-10 Project on 14/07/2024 at GuruLaxmi Hall, Porvorim for all the Saheli Groups of Federation-10 Goa. The inauguration of the Saheli Symposium was done by lighting traditional lamp at the hands of dignitaries.
On this occasion Advocate Siddhi Parodkar was a Guest Lecturer and delivered talk, on the subject “Women and Law”. Advocate Siddhi Parodkar highlighted the importance of Women role in day to day affairs she delivered talk covering the subject on protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act,2005 Child labour, Divorce cases which are on the rise in state of Goa and dowry system. There was an interaction session and Sahelis participated in the discussion.
On the occasion of Saheli Symposium Giants Group of Porvorim Saheli organized some games like making of Flower Toran, Bucket the ball and cooking competition. All the Saheli Groups Giants Group of Porvorim Saheli, Khorlim Saheli, Smart Saheli Banaulim Sahelis and other Sahelis Participated in Saheli Symposium and Games and Following Group Won the Competition.

*1st- Porvorim Saheli
*Runner Up- Khorlim Saheli
III) Flower Toran Making
*1st- Smart Saheli Mapusa

Giants Group of Porvorim Saheli President Vidhiti Dhuri welcome the Guest. Central Committee Member GT Deepak D’souza, Central Committee Member Saheli Varsha Naik and Federation-10 President GT Sudan N. Gaonkar delivered talk.
Saheli Urmila Yende was the Chairman of Saheli Symposium. Saheli Smita Mhamal Co-ordinated and conducted the games. Advocate Siddhi Parodkar, GT K. Deshpande, GT Shankar Chodankar, Advocate V. Dhuri were the judges for the games.
Memento was awarded to Guest Speaker Advocate Siddhi Parodkar.
Fed-10 Secretary Dr. Swati Divkar was the master of ceremony and also Proposed vote of thanks, Refreshment was served to all Sahelis.
Winners were awarded trophies at the hands of Central Committee Member GT Deepak D’Souza, Central Committee Member Saheli Varsha Naik and Federation-10 President GT Sudan Naik Gaonkar
